Upside Down World
Magical(?) Dystopia
In a land beyond and without substance you will find upside down world.
Where the citizens don’t say what they mean but mean what they don’t say.
Where the jesters are rewarded with untold riches and the knights are cast aside wounded and left without succour.
Where the healers are not healers at all but men of business and business tells you what ails you.
Where physical prowess and skills of the game are revered and worshiped and those of intellect and science are deemed Machiavellian and false.
Where the path to everything prized and sought for is easy, cheap, fast and effortless despite centuries of evidence to the contrary.
Into such a world stepped a man and a philosophy that promised what couldn’t be delivered to people he had no care for. They believed him thinking him to be their salvation when in fact he would facilitate their demise.
So, beware if you find yourself in upside down world; for everything will seem reasonable at first and then suddenly it will not.
